Thanks David. I looks straight forward but I have tried searching for the part number that he uses but have been unable to find it.

Could you suggest a local place I could try to source the part please.

Also from that video you can not actually see that fan operates properly after the thermistor is installed.

In the clip he mentioned part number KSD01FD45 (45° C trip point) thermal switch. When I checked last, Digikey had them for about $10 I think. I found this one just now but it says ERROR for QTY and price.

EDIT: The KSD01F part is found on eBay, but they are NC (normally closed) versions, not the NO (normally open) ones that you'd need. :(

Thanks David - I had been wondering how that was going to work with an NC switch (which is all the ebay search ever brought me until now!)
