Almost home after the mini (in Wagga Wagga tonight and home tomorrow) and it was another great year. Thanks to all the presenters, Tess and Bruce for the venue cooking and great food, and everyone who went.

I was a bit hesitant to go, but I am so glad I went, and can't wait to see some of the pics people took on the days. I learnt so many tips that it was worth every second. Also a big thanks to those who provided the giveaways and demo pieces for us to win, play with and test. I felt so bad all I showed was my two flashing balls on the second day, but next year I'll bring more body parts down, I promise (those I spoke to about the bits I was working on will get what I mean, others will just have to guess lol)

G'day All,

It was great to meet everyone over the weekend and thanks again to Bruce and Tess for all of hard work both behind the scenes and during the weekend, as well as everyone else who made the weekend a success.

I've posted most of the photos I took and they are available at: http://forums.auschristmaslighting.com/index.php?action=media;sa=album;in=47

Please feel free to edit the descriptions, add any comments, identify any of the players, as well as adding any pix that you might have taken along the way.

Cheers,

davidt

Thanks to everyone who attended, we had a great weekend.

For anyone looking for some more lighting fun, one of the events in the flyer MPH handed out which I didn't get a chance to read sounds like something some people here might enjoy...

Wednesday 22 June, 12pm - 4pm, Fed Square
A four hour group activity for pre-registered teams to construct a light object from found, recycled and provided materials. Your construction will form a permanent part of the “Light Hearts” installation in the heart of Fed Square. With a road case of gear at your disposal and technical assistance, release your inner sculptural lighting designer and contribute to the wonder of The Light in Winter. Works will be unveiled from 6pm, with a chance
to win a designer light fitting for your efforts.
