Small Update:


I have done some more firmware dev. I think I have the ESP8266 stuff nutted out now.


Work has gotten in the way of prototype assembly. See how I go in the next few days. I have dug out my small reflow oven ready for the task. Just need the time now

Just picked up a fresh batch of solder paste.

My boards are coming along nicely so far. Not ready to release into the wild yet as I still want to test them a bit further, but it isn't far away now. Fingers crossed that I get some more spare time soon. (getting hammered with large jobs lately)

one person is complaining about the espixelstick firmware an the software that makes the webpages..
(none necessary library's are used just to make a couple of buttons etc.. (bootstrap) i think was one he said)
so i would love to try it even more.. just to see the difference..

Sorry for the random disappearance on my part lads. Just been busy with my "day" job.

Will get back to this as soon as I can.

Trying to help out people at the moment who are flood affected and help get their power restored. Damn water got everywhere.

It has been suggested elsewhere the original esp-stick schematic was released along the way. Does anyone have a link?

EDIT: AH, 'Tis in the manual I just missed it. Also found some version of the gerbers are shared on Oshpark.

Ah finally some progress today......

Will have a PixAmp, a DMX-WiFi and a Wixel (my version of the ES Pixel Stick) fully developed really soon.

My version of the ES Pixel Stick firmware is coming along nicely and has tested well so far.

More to come hopefully in the next few days
