I stumbled across this page whilst researching how to setup some proper Christmas lights (better than the Bunnings versions).

Welcome to ACL
There's definitely lot better lights than what Bunnings have to offer but they generally can be controlled if you want to synch them up to music.
Make sure that you download and have a read of the ACL101
