Very cool, I would guess it needs to be inside, as a bit of wind would cause a lot of damage to the balls and cable wrapped together.

Few things would be as painful as having your balls tangled after they are extended 6m :D

Just watched a bit of eurovision and saw that these balls are being used, over the audience. Coupled with the lighting of the stage, they really look fantastic. Mostly used when the hosts are talking, not during the acts, though.

I must say that the Eurovision stage and lighting was one of the most impressive setups ive ever seen, i just watched it for the stage effects more than the crappy music
