[NZ] Cheap Primex P136ENC-XFX enclosure

Review time!
I recently picked up eight (8) Primex enclosures from AC-WB Technologies in Auckland, New Zealand.

They were incredibly cheap and locally sourced for me.
This video includes the @LawrenceDriveLights garden house test with a paper-towel inside.

They can just hold a Meanwell LRS-350 sized power supply and something to the side.




The company I bought these off has had these enclosures sitting around for years in their warehouse.
They are okay with this being shared about, they want them gone!

Remind me to post about how they went for Christmas 2022.

If only they were down in CHCH as well. I wouldn't be able to justify paying 3x the price of the item just to ship it.

I still need to workout how to mount a power supply and differential board inside!

I'm probably going to be using other boxes for my computer ATX power supplies, unless I can find Meanwell LRS-350 sized units with both 12v and 5v outputs.....

Not sure where you can get them, but there are these which are 5v 40a, and there is a 12v version available. 21 x 6 x 3cm.

Not sure where you can get them, but there are these which are 5v 40a, and there is a 12v version available. 21 x 6 x 3cm.

I think I have seen 12v on TradeMe of those. I haven't seen 5V at that size.

Nice work. I picked up 5 boxes when last in Auckland. Guys were very helpful and glad to get rid of them. Need to get round to building them up.
