Well it looks like the interest batch of 60 boards went fast.
Latest update is that the board-house is now processing the order,
but postage should then be soon :-\ ,
Will keep everyone updated as parts arrive etc

The last guy who did a design rip off around here was dmoore. His popularity dwindled to nearly zilch around these parts after that.

Whats orginal about your "Design" Alec?

I'm not Alec but I will stick my nose in and comment from a FPP perspective.

I would say that the board is very original. As the lead developer of FPP, I can say that this is the first board I have seen for use with FPP that is this simple and does not have the power for the pixels flowing through the board. If you are someone who already does or wants to do power injection then this simplified board design is cheaper and smaller than any of the existing options that are out there. There are currently at least 3 other boards similar to this that plug into the Pi for driving ws281x pixels. This is the most unique of them all because it is simple and does not have pixel power, serial output, RTC, ws2801 output, etc. that the other boards have.

Agree with Captain ,

If I ever manage to get my hands on a Pi Zero , then at some stage in the future , could use that and this board and old speakers lying around to have lights and sound in areas ie backyard / indoors , neighbours etc , that I would not otherwise bother to spend money on.
