Interesting. I would also need your setting file (see below) so I can see what options and messages you have selected/added.

When you say stuck on a message, are you talking incoming sms’s or messages you have added. Just because there are sms’s In the queue it will still go through and look at the sensitivity levels that have been set for the other message options and if they are high then it could repeat some messages before grabbing another sms on the queue.

Under c:\users\computername\appdata\roaming\vixen messaging
Replace computername with yours.
There will be a settings file I can add that to mine and I will have the same as you so can chrack it out if the issue isn’t resolve by above. Pm for email and You can email me the logs and settings file.
 
UPDATED 1 May 19 - To Version 3.5.2 Update on first post to work with the latest Vixen Builds and Vixen 3.6 when released.
 
Thanks for presenting this at the mini Geoff. I assume this works on an API key of some sort? I use “Many chat” which is a messenger bot for Facebook messenger. It has the ability to “respond” to the user based on keywords entered. It would be great if that could be integrated into this. This way it would seem that the house is responding. Definitely not easy but would be cool

It's something that I could look into down the track when I get some time.

Hi guys,

I am just wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting Geoff's SMS Vixen app working this year.

Not sure what has changed at Twilio but they seem to have done an update at some point because I had lost most of what was in my account including any remaining credit I had.

More of a problem is we are unable to get Geoff's app to talk to Twilio now. It seems from the logs the messages are being delivered to the server but something is grabbing them and when the app tries to grab them they are not there.

Anyone else having problems with this.

Are you using the latest version, download from page 1 of the forum.
I have been using the app for the past week and it’s working fine.
Twilio did change accounts as you now have to provide proof of address etc, butshouldn’t effect the app.

Actually, I just looked at mine and I'm on Version 3.6 and post one is at 3.5.2 so I must of made some changes when Twilio did some updates.

I will have to build a release version and post it to the forum. Will do it tonight and then please install this one and it should work.
 
Hi @ChristmasInKaralee So looking at doing this in next year's display. Can a beagle bone run off my pi if I'm already using the Pi as a show player? I assume you are using 7 x P10 panels?
