Hi I have just joined the forum from the UK, and wonder whether anyone has knowledge of which pins to short out on this particular circuit board to force the controller into a steady state lighting.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you i13 for your reply. It looks different from the current circuits, slightly different from the existing model 3101 circuit board.

I have taken a couple of photo's, but I cannot see where I am able to attach these easily.

To add pictures, use the "Attachments and other options" right under the text composition box. :)

Make sure you resize them to something more reasonable. (800 x 600 or similar)

I feel a little stupid now, as I could not see the wood for the trees. I only looked at the icons to see where I could attach files!!!

OK, linking at two places as shown by the red lines should do what you want.

Basically you need to short the outer legs of each of the (3-pin) transistors.

Now, this is a mains powered MFC so be damn careful and make sure the case is sealed securely once done.

I shall get out the soldering iron and sort this out.

I have programmed PLC's,and PID controllers in my time, but I could not for the life of me, get the lights to stay on static using the push button on the controller!

I thought I should let you know that linking the transistor out has worked fine! The lights are static and no longer drive us all nuts.
