Gutter Clips

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas if it is possible to purchase gutter clips similar to the below. am using strip attached to 20mm conduit/pvc and want an option to be able to put them up and down each year, not a permanent fixture.

These look to be custom made to fit their particular gutters so not sure if they would work for my gutters. They also seem to be US based.

The other question I had was how many clips per meter people find work for hanging conduit on gutters so I have some idea how many I would need to purchase?

If I am unable to purchase I was wondering if anyone has ideas for making clips similar to the above?

I think I had about 1 clip per 2m and in parts that wasn't enough. I would calculate for ever 2m like I did and factor in extras in sagging places.
You could see about store bought clips from bunnings, etc and try to adapt them to hold the conduit.
Binder clips might work as well.
Ideally you would use conduit clips screwed under the eve.

I didn't have gutters up to the peak of my garage and can't drill holes for mounts. So I used G clamps and conduit clips.
Bit controversial on here........ "It's going to fall and knock someone out". (It did not fall down.)
C9 bulbs. 20mm conduit, G clamps.

As a side note to any attachment method of lights to conduit; I would advise to add a connector between sections. Or having a 'strain' relief cable between sections, this takes the weight off the strings cable during dismantling.
Connectors would be far easier though.

Thanks for the advice Mark and Graham. My gutter has the overflow slots so I will try those and see how it goes.
Thanks also for the idea of the ‘strain’ relief, not something I had really though of before

What about the good old cup hooks? I use 25 mm ones screwed into the conduit every 750mm and just hook them over the lip of the gutter profile. Easily removed for storage .

Yep. It was easier to do when I used strip. Last year I had nodes in chromatrim and with the wires out the back it was a little trickier to feed the cable ties through, but still worked.

Hey all!

I came up with this with some bracing I had laying around. Worked a charm, cable tie looks it in and it’s very strong! The small bit locks into the channel on the inside of the gutter to eliminate any chance it will pop off.

This is very clever.

Could I please ask where you got the actual bracket to mount in the gutter from? Or did you make it yourself?

It appears that its connected to one of these: https://www.bunnings.com.au/deta-25mm-conduit-mounting-clip-2-pack_p4330823

Looks to be the same stuff I used to make the brackets for my roof lines -

You cut it to length and bend as needed.
