Hi guy's, can anyone recommend a projector around $300 that would be good enough to display a virtual santa. There are so many different projectors out there and it's way to confusing.......lol. $300 is my limit so hopefully there is something that will be ok to use.

U should only need a basic data projector if all you are using it for is Virtual Santa. I cant comment on models around that price range but I have been lucky enough to pick up an Epson TW4500 for $199 and a Benq for $29 from cash converters. both work fine and look the same for the non HD Virtual Santa. Might be worth checking out second hand stores for cheap one if that's your only purpose.

Just be careful on old projectors. I used to repair them so this is from that experience.
The older projectors have a lamp life. You MUST replace the lamp when it is due and not wait for it to blow as when they blow, they usually take out the power supply and sometimes for worse.
So check the price of new lamps and also check the lamp life, they will almost always have the info in the menu.
For a virtual santa, I bought a cheap projector a few years back and it does the job fantastically.
You only need a small resolution if that is all you want it for as you don't want it bigger than real life in your window or it will look silly
