I was going through the manual and came across this:
3.2.2.2. Differential Receiver
A single Falcon 4-port Differential Receiver (see Section 3.2.3.1.2) can be connected to the serial output port (also referred to as DMX Port). This allows for the Pixel Outputs to be placed up to 250’ from the F4v3 controller with a separate power supply.

I thought you needed the Diff Expansion board to run the diff receiver on the F4V3?

As far as I know, the F4v3 does not support a receiver board on the DMX port.

That is what I had thought too, but this was taken directly from the F4 manual. I did some more reading last night, and further along it said that it will only power the first port of the receiver. So its limited to 1024 pixels. (according the manual)
