Hi, I know that this is an old thread however I am trying to use the code to control a relay connected to an arduino. I have the following setup
Raspberry pi3 running FPP connected to a F16V3 via Ethernet, the arduino is then connected from the F16V3 to the arduino via Ethernet.
I have searched the net for a few days now looking for a way to use one of the GPIO outputs of the FPP running on a Raspberry Pi 3 board to control a relay which will be used to turn on and off the 240Vac lights. I need no clarification, etc on the physical connection of the relay or...
So this is what I have came up with. In the pics there are 8 strips hanging off the roof. Two more to come once I repair them / they were not finished in time :(
Next year I plan on adding 30 more strips. This leaves me room for many more and once filled I can just add more to it until the...
As it gets closer to pack everything away for another year (or there about) I was wondering how everyone stores there lights in particular the RBG mounting strips.
I noticed when I was building that once loaded up with LEDs they take up a fair amount of room.
So fair I really only have 2...
You have hit the nail on the head. I did have vixen running on the computer it was not playing at time of testing lights though. I did not realise that that would still be putting out E1.31 data just from having it open. I did notice that in the E1.31 status the universes were receiving...
Thank you all.
I thought that they could have up to 1024 pixels per output? Or is that the max and recommended max is 640?
I plan on using a differential expansion board and receivers to extend to other elements next year.
Either way I think that this board should keep me going for a while at...
Ok I have managed to get my FPP talking to the F16, turned out that I didnt check the enable E131 checkbox in the FPP settings.
Now though onto another problem that I am having. When running test mode through the F16 interface the pixels light up and stay on as expected, all good. However...
Excellent thank you Keith
So I have removed the gateway from the Ethernet port settings on the Pi, turned off IPv6 on my router, added the script into cmd prompt.
Now I can talk through to the F16 wireless from my laptop through the router to the Pi then bridged through to the F16 and I can...
I have got my setup wired and have now got to the stage of turning it all on and to start testing it all.
My current network settings are
Pi running FPP
Eth0 IP: 192.168.101.1
Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
I thought that I would share my first pixel controller setup. Components are
Raspberry Pi running FPP (Pi will have a wireless link to the router then use lan to talk to the controller)
F16v3 pixel controller board
2 x 60A 5V supplies, way over kill for now I know (decided against 12V...
