I'd love to sacrifice one to see what the limits of the voltage are, would also love to see some sort of video showing how the Gamma helps (side by side with the alternatives? )
this is doing it just with cheap Seal Design lights, the mapping is something I'm slowly working towards...

This new PixPlus mob looks like it finally has a high quality product, photo's of the cable look light quite a step up. anyone have some on the way over?
most interesting is that the 12v sold out first, would love to see how the regulated version runs inc if it'll take 24v (spec sheet on the...
does it off any benefit over the 12 bit brightness control the GS offers? I imagine the enhanced control over each colour might make very slow colour transitions even smoother... ? tempted to ask Ed as all his stuff is 16 bit colour (from what I can see)
Has anyone played around with 16 bit colour equipped pixels... is the increased amount of colours noticeable?
by the looks the additional data comes at quite a refresh rate cost.. no idea what additional limitations it places on controllers...
thoughts?
that reminds me... It'd be interesting to see you push the limits of the Volt regs... even just on a single pixel, from vague recollection they were rated for max volt 25 or 30?
it's somewhat worse than that from my understanding, by the sounds of it (and someone would need to do some testing) the increased load each pixel uses would greatly impact the load the wire can handle.. so I'd not be surprised if you don't get much further at all.
from my basic reading of the...
