It's a most probably a yes for me.

After just a quick look - the Novotel Glen Waveley looks like the best hotel bet so far.

Will get train from city to Hotel; then 2 stops back & a short walk by the looks to get to the Hall.

Hi All.
Time is fast approaching for this year's Melbourne Mini. If you are able to assist with running the event in any small way at all, be it food, setup, projector, presenting a topic, or if you have any leads of contacts or anything you'd like to donate as prizes, they would be very warmly welcomed.
Please post here or if you'd like to remain anonymous, please contact @burnt and myself.

Cheers, Graham

I'm likely to be there. Not looked at any topics yet but happy to talk about nearly anything.
Would hope that someone will be talking about universes, channels, absolute vs FPP addressing, current and wire size and all the other things that I like to chip into posts about like heat/ventilation and safety.

Just over 3 weeks until the Melbourne Mini!!
If you're still undecided, hurry up and decide and register so we can get final numbers for catering, prizes and name tags.

Don't forget, if you've been thinking of getting some coro from Extreme Lighting Displays, now is the time to order to get free shipping, as Troy is bringing down pre-orders (and a small amount of stock to sell over the weekend) so get your orders in by no later than the 15th June. (Note: Troy is at Syd Mini this weekend so no cutting for the next few days) https://auschristmaslighting.com/threads/extreme-lighting-displays-is-on-the-move.11474/

More details on topics and rough schedule coming soon but if you'd like to give a talk on any topic or have something you'd like to show off or ask for feedback, let us know here and bring it along. We'd love to see all your creations and ideas to help inspire others and to help show the newbies what can be achieved in this hobby.

We had a number of suggestions for topics to be covered above, is anyone willing to present or talk to them? You don't need to have a flashy powerpoint presentation or any public speaking qualifications. This is an informal chat amongst people who are willing to learn and listen about the subject matter.
We can put together a rough schedule in the coming weeks but I get the feeling that it may be more beneficial to possibly break off into groups for some parts and people can mingle and swap between discussions as they like. The round table concept at this years Syd Mini has proved very successful, so basically I want to copy it :D
But we also have a number of interstate guests so this is your chance to put some faces to forum/chat names and ask them directly about their displays first hand.

I do like the idea of break off groups.. but we don't have the room,
