2048 matrix issues

Hi all my first attempt at this i went big but i cant get it to run, i have a he123mk i set up matrix in two with two inputs i used scrap wire to test injection i got it working i bought wire which came thicker than i thought and i bought a fuse board plugged it in and nothing but first line works.
Has anyone made one of these? Can you share power supply size or any help really.
Are wires to thick?
Photo is of it is bottom halh in test mode with scrap wires now nothing happens one wire was loose.
Its driving me crazy 🤪
I know everyone is crazy busy so any help is appreciated

With a multimeter check what voltages you have after the first string, then 2nd, 3rd, etc and that should tell you if you have your power injection and supply good or bad
 
Without seeing better photo's of your connections, I'd say you don't have power injection or enough power injection.
I have a matrix with 1152 leds, broken into two sections of 576 leds in each section and run a total of four power injection points, plus the two data/power feeds. For a total of six in all.
 
You did not indicate number of pixels, pixel type, or voltage but a 'rough' count of pixels shows it to be somewhere around a 40 by 80 pixel matrix. Assuming that is a close estimate, 3200 pixels driven at 100% White for 5 Volt pixels would put amperage at about 176 Amp. For 12 Volt Resistor pixels, somewhere around 100 Amp. A lower drive level would reduce required amperage of course as also would driving only 1 or 2 colors rather than all 3 (White).

Your wording of the number of the HE123MK and outputs is a little confusing. So I guess I would ask if you have determined that the controller(s) can support the number of pixels per output.

Mate, not enough power injection! You need at least one power injection at every 50-100 pixels depending on your brightness. Somebody will chime in with the specific ratings for 18awg wire (around 15amps max) but in my experience it should be fine for up to 250-300x pixels with north of 3x injection points. Extrapolate that out and you need at least 8x seperate power injection wires fused appropriately at 10amps each assuming your power injection board can handle that much on each output.
 
Also it may sound funny but check your fuse board hasn't got diodes on it for reverse polarity protection, and also that you haven't got your negative and positive wires around the wrong way

You say that it looks like 5V on one side of the fuse and about 1V on the other side! This ounds like you have a blown fuse, as the voltage should be the same both sides. A way to check this is, with power on, put your meter across the fuse. If there is a voltage being displayed the fuse is blown - replace fuse. Another way to check the fuse is to take it out and check that there is no reistance across it.
 
I have a 2048 pixel matrix i set it up with 4 ports and 8 power injection power suplys are 320w for the 4 ports and 500w for the power 8 injection 12v running at 30% running from a remote box from my falcon f16v4 and works a treat
