Storage for Controller board

Thanks Bryan for the heads up about the boxes.
I have been looking online etc for a suitable cost effective box.
I have ordered some.
I hope the "Ammo Crate" is just a sticker on the front I can just peel off as my neighbours will probably freak out if they think I have ammo stashed around the front yard!

They look like you can just reverse the fan body which would then reverse the flow, would that be right, David!?!?
This is correct... I found with mine that the vent which was pushing needed the slats cut out to stop the fan air bouncing off it and coming back in. Made the push much better.

Thanx MacArthur, good to know.

Has anyone had issues with 'Creepy-Crawlys' in this control boxes?

We get seasonal mice, and subsequent snakes and they'd fit in thru those vents... Have been pondering the use of fly-screen to cover the opening.
Also, for storage, it may turn into a Cockroach 'Villa' if they have free reign...

Yes I use some fly screen glued to the inside of all my vents to stop bugs/spiders getting in. You'd hate to fry a controller and/or PSU because of a creepy crawly for the sake of a couple square cm of fly screen!

I am about to order another 2.. It was a nice find...

Heard back from the supplier.... here is what they said

"
The boxes were being used for packing.

The sales now exceed the ability to offset the cost as before.

Freight company charges these cubically so the freight is affecting the cost."

Is it just me or do we all call bullsh1t on this..... :):)

This is how my ones from Bunnings turned out. I rehoused my p12 and power supplies into one box (prev had it split over two boxes).

Here are the youtube videos I did for my ammo box build for my Falcon Differential Receiver boards.

It is a bit drawn out so maybe just view the last one (It also includes a quick look at the F16 enclosure set up) if your interested how I did my ammo box builds.
I have since done a couple of tweaks and fitted cat cables etc.
