Sydney/NSW Sydney 2017 micro Mini June 3/4 (Newcastle)

!!!!! FINALLY !!!!!!!

I can announce that the Sydney Mini is going ahead on the 3rd and 4th of June In the Newcastle CBD Starting at 9:30am.

Address of the event will be PM'd to you once you've registered.

It's in the heart of Newcastle so there is plenty of cafes and pubs to grab lunch on both days. Keith will be giving a Xlights tutorial on the latest release over the weekend and I'll have props on hand to show setups etc. If you'd like to learn anything new for your setup, by all means place it in this thread so we can help you with whatever it is.

Right now Id like to see a few people presenting whatever they wish to show us. Could be anything from waterproofing to power injection, Falcon to LOR etc. If it's your first year out, come along and learn from the guys who have been doing this for years. Every question will be answered no matter how trivial.

I'm definitely interested in going for at least one day. I didn't make it to last year's mini, so was pretty disappointed to see that this year's was cancelled. This would be my first year at a controlled display, so I have plenty of questions. As this year is a micro micro mini, I don't want to take up too much of all your time with questions. Is this micro good for beginners or for the more advanced?

Brett, These minis are fantastic for the new guys. You can ask all the questions you want and if you have an issue with any part of your setup, Someone will be able to help you.

Thanks Troy, I won't vote as I'm biased. I'm happy with either location, but one will obviously be easier for me.

In previous years before the Sydney mini was at the Fish markets it used to be held at the Hawksbury motor boat club near Windsor that you organised a few times, is this a possible option?
