Bugger missed the meeting.... Looks like I will be leaving early on Saturday as I have a mates 40th that night and I cannot miss it, I will say yes to both days for now but shall see how I pull up that night as to whether or not I can be there on Sunday,

Thanks to all those that turned up for the meeting and came up with some great ideas

here is a list of them so far and we are happy to add more to the list but we will need presenters also for these topics so people please put your hands up to present or even if you want to team up with someone to do a presentation or even one of the round tables.

what do people think about a troubleshooting section or a build help section. you can bring things along but we would need advance notice so we can get the right people to help.

any other ideas are more than welcome.

Remember this is your Expo so it is only as good as the effort put in by all. you do not need to be a professional speaker to do a presentation at the expo.
it would be great to see more Presenters this year

build help section

I heard this being discussed on the call last night, but missed the actual suggestion, I guess this again becomes great for the beginners and maybe a little more mundane for the folks that have been around for multiple years. I assume most of you aren't planning to build new controller boxes every year.

As a newbie, every suggestion is like gold for me and whilst there isn't much I can offer to contribute this year, appreciate it will be an investment in being able to contribute in future years. I can assist with camera stuff if that is required? I have 2 Panasonic mirrorless cameras that are pretty good at video. My other hobby is landscape / seascape photography so have a bit of gear in this space.

Back on topic and specifically the build help, perhaps we could develop an Australian version of the JDeation box build kits with hardware that is readily available locally. I have a 3D printer so may be able to assist in some capacity.

Keith was also talking about sub modelling and using buffer to unlock the full potential so this is absolutely of interest to me.
