Was my venue suitable in the end? If so, I will start asking what can be done, if not I wont bother the person in charge of it.

Gah.. wont be able to make it, per last year I am in Brisvegas for the long weekend!

I can't do the long weekend as I have other commitments and the rest of June would be no- good for you by the sounds of it Harrison.
Anything after June would be a bit late.

I'm also attending Sydney and Adelaide mini so that brings us back to May.
Either the same weekend as Melb or the weekend before 10th-11th of May

Just wondering where we are up to with deciding a date for the mini as I am going to need to book my leave to cover this & Sydney by the end of the month. I am hapy with either May or June dates that have been suggested.

Brisbane Mini is confirmed as an event

Details of the event for the location and dates have been posted in the wiki HERE
Ryan will shortly add the official registration interest into the first post of this thread and I will be updating info in the wiki time schedule of things we will be looking at.
As per previous events we will be covering all things from 101 basics to anything new I will also endeavour to have lots of practical demonstrations of building and controller setups.

The Official Registration is now open for the Brisbane Mini

Please add your name to the list if you are planning on attending this event.
The registration can be found at the top of the 1st page in this thread. HERE
Registration will close 1 week before the mini and you are free to remove your name from the list if you are unable to attend.
 
Damian from Christmas Creations has advised me that he will be attending the Mini again this year.
He will be taking pre-orders for wire frames that he can bring to the Mini to save you on freight.
Damian will also have some stock of his more popular frames that will be available for purchase.
Contact him if you have any requests and he will be more than happy to help you out.
 
Looks like I'll have to attend as I am bringing a couple of newbies ... Julie from the Christmas Lodge (Tenterfield) and her son Paul (Ipswich) ...
