Is anyone bringing a RGB Matrix to the mini?

My matrix is 12 stings of ws2811 as seen here http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/5m-led-digital-strip-DC12V-input-WS2811IC-256-scale-10pcs-IC-and-30pcs-5050-SMD-RGB/701799_568458133.html it is quite large in being 5mtrs long. I had it set up in the last Sydney mini.
Is this of any use to you?
I would be interested in seeing how you can use your Wi-Fi interactive "Name in Lights" system

Sure would be useful!

The 3xLED pixel strip will just mean the text is stretched in that direction - not a huge deal for a demo

Can you let me know your matrix's...
* Wiring Pattern / pixel order
* Controller IP
* Start DMX Universe & channel number.
Or if you can post any diagram detailing this - or email it to me at brad at netbootdisk dot com, that would be awesome.

Ditto here John. I will be bringing a Raspberry Pi and a single string of 2811 to demo, but would be more then happy to put the demo onto a matrix instead.

My apolagies for not being involved with the organising this time around but work and family commitments have left me with no spare time at the moment. I do plan on attending and showing LSP as well as I will show off Glediator using a webcam on a live grid.

I will bring a 10 x 15 hanging grid but it will be using Art-Net so not sure if thats any good to you Driver

I'm not coming as I'm overseas for a number of months again (story of my life over the last 2 years since starting this hobby) however if someone is driving past newcastle they could pick up my webbing matrix if your short of one.

Each panel is 25x8 but can be joined to form bigger ie 50x16 or 25x24 etc.

Multi universe controller selections other than the jys p12.

A vixen 3 demo would be good Yagoona. I'm considering jumping from the LSP.

I can bring my laptop with my 2013 Vixen 3 show on it. I could muddle my way through a rough demo but I am in no way competent enough to do a presentation to the whole room. I am still at the suck it and see level.

Jon please do that would be great. even if you could do a little 5 min presentation to the room on the basics of vixen then people can come and see you in the free time or in the advanced class time for lor and lsp if you like

Hi, I'm staying at the Haven Inn Sydney 196 Glebe Point Road, Glebe.
No transport as was close to fish markets and mini but a hike to the dinner.
Happy to get the bus but if anyone is in that area and has a spare seat it would be appreciated.
