I thought about doing both but didn't want to over commit myself as I start to get busy around mid year.
But I could do both if there is interest as they are only 15 minutes each

I want to come for both days but cant lock it in yet because my work load would determine this, so currently ill be in for the Saturday, but need to see what my work load is like closer to the date

My preference is to lead discussions (with a little bit of introduction) like i did last year in Adelaide when we discussed the future of Christmas Light displays. So not so much me telling but facilitating a discussion which brings out everyone's views and encourages everyone to participate.

Possible topics:

- Enhancing the lighting community in ANZ ... is a website, chat and once a year gatherings really all it can be?
- Building props for storage
- Cool things i've built
- Managing the impact of your show

Sure these could also be lectures but i think they work better as discussions as no one has all the answers.

I would also be willing to run actual workshops ... where people build an effect or something together ... because things sink in more if you do rather than just listen ... but that may not make sense if the skill mix is all over the place or we have users of other sequencers.

Is it advisable to bring a laptop.

i like Keith's Idea of perhaps building a simple model and then creating that model in xlights, sequence etc. The start to finish etc...

this is the great part if you ask we can provide we just need people to put there hands up to do the presentation. 15 mins is the max time so no worries if your talk is even shorter for your first presentation. also if needed in free time we can expand on areas. So in answer to your question we can add matrix through xlights to the list for sure
