Melbourne Mini - Its all GO! so come and have fun....

Now that looks great L-Tay I can see you have been busy. Looks like we could make you a nice new feature as part of our Mini which will be fun. We will also pop along at Christmas and have a look at your display.

@ Kel no problems we will post a video as long as you post a pic or your beautiful self on the forum (not limited time!!)

That is a real nice looking display.

@TD's request for a kel photo. I'm sure that TD is referring to a photo that doesn't show you in a costume either kel

If anyone has a laptop/s and any of the lighting software installed and doesn't mind doing a hands on demo at anytime during the day/s I reckon that it'd be a good thing. The more there the merrier. I should be there on the Saturday at least and I've got LOR, LSP and Vixen installed. I will also have a dongle and lights so it will be possible to sequence and output to the lights.

Yes we will have LSP and Madrix (3D) plus a few new other goodies.
Some Ideas for Topics
- Update on LSP and general approach to addressing pixels with this
- Practical Example showing various devices for networking such as Ed's DR4, switches and cabling etc
- Megatree basics with pixels or strings
- RC servo interfacing and operation for animated parts
- PC Projection interlink with show and maybe some Video animation SW (Brother Tuppet Can demo)
- Megastar Project for Church
- Cherry Picker safety instructions (Beacy is a specialist)
- Latest Goodies in lighting
Please post your ideas and suggestions here ... 8)

Sounds Great>look forward to seeing you and your team Gary. Later this week we will post a preliminary schedule of topics. We are very open to suggestions!!. Should be a very fun and informative couple of days.

So from a quick look so far we have 14 members confirmed and several more possibles so it should be a great weekend. later today will have list of probable topics. Some hands on work as well as discussions and presentations. Demo of some nice new tools like 3D printers and small laser cutters also so if you have some stuff you want to make on these then bring it along and give it a try.

Prizes list is growing nicely as well.

This is a wonderful chance to meet other members and and share ideas and know how with each other.

Allways a lot of fun

For the ajenda can I suggest a more in depth look at LSP maybe get someone to run through different ways of sequencing and as Pixels now seem to be the standard maybe some set up methodology.
I've heard about this guy who is "a world renowned user of LSP" and he travels around the world teaching classes, giving demos, etc.
Maybe you should try to contact him. :D
