Lock it in. I'm good to provide the same sort of format we have had in the past if needed. Ipswich is perfect for me.

Now that the date is locked in, it would be great if we could lock in a location. There seems to be two options at the moment, an office space and my place near Ipswich. If held here then for a small cost I can do a BBQ lunch and supply food and drinks throughout the day. I can also have a lot of lights and props that I use setup and ready to go.

In order to get a call for presenters - What topics are people interested in?

eg, off the top of my head from previous years:
-Basic Intro to different lights / wiring
-xlights Sequencer intro
-Vixen Sequencer intro
-Pi Player
-Display Tips
-IP Networking 101
-P10 Panels
-Controllers
-waterproofing
-Show tips
-Your project/gizmo
-or something else?

Keeping each presentation to 15-20mins should keep sanity for all.

I'd also consider pre screen-capture any software demo's/screens in to PowerPoint slides so time isn't lost navigating/driving software on the day.

Maybe if someone has got a 3D printer that they could demo.

I'd put my hand up for the Pi Player demo and introduction as I have used it a few times and done some triggering of projected video for halloween.

Can we confirm that the dates are locked in for 24/25 June please.

I'm planning to fly from Townsville for the weekend so to keep it affordable I'll need to book flights and accomodation in the next week.

Will be a huge weekend for me but no doubt that it will be invaluable.

Thanks in advance.

I think the wife had booked tickets to Tassie leaving 23rd June. Will be sad to miss it. Always a great weekend!
Sad to miss the weekend to Tassie or the mini? [emoji3]

Such a shame, Tassie is really nice this time of year.

Superman has locked the 24/25 Jun into the Wiki and will most likely be held in Karalee (Ipswich)
