The PixLite 16 Long Range control system uses a central control board which can then be connected up to individual receiver boards (maximum of 8) over a Cat5e/6 cable. Pixels and power are then connected to the receiver boards. The advantage of this system is very long transmission distances without any signal loss and local power distribution close to the actual pixels.

Transmitter Features
Data
- Ethernet input compatible with industry standard sACN (E1.31) and Art-net DMX-over-ethernet protocols
- Onboard E1.31 to DMX512 output capability (no Art-Net to DMX)
- Supports both Multicast and Unicast addressing
- Supports IGMP allowing highly efficient data packet routing in large Multicast networks with many hundreds of universes
- High refresh rates
Power
- Individually fused outputs and logic circuitry
- Wide range voltage input
- Configuration free power connection
Other
- High power TVS (600W transient peak) providing external ESD protection on DMX interface
- Remote temperature monitoring
- Firmware upgradable remotely over the ethernet network via the easy-to-use ‘Advatek Assistant’ utility
- Simple network setup and fast configuration via powerful Assistant utility that shows all controllers on the network at once
- Advanced configuration options including start universe, start channel, null pixels, zig-zag, reverse pixels, RGB color order, pixel grouping, brightness control and more
- Built-in hardware test pattern mode
- Individual outputs with each connector supplying power and data over a single cable
- Easy to use pluggable screw terminal connectors on all channel outputs and data interfaces
- Currently supports PixLite Bright™ series (12-bit) and PixLite Pro™ series (16-bit) pixel strings in addition to numerous other pixel protocols (TLS3001, SM16716, LPD6803, WS2801, WS2811/12/12B/APA104, TM180x, MBI6020, INK1003, APA102. Note: one pixel type at a time per controller.)
- Gamma correction allows significantly improved dimming and colour response
- Features 4 standard DMX512 universe outputs (providing an E1.31 to 4 x DMX bridge) via dedicated RJ45 connectors, in addition to the 32 universes of pixel output.
- Converts standard SPI signals into differential pair signals for transmission over long distances of 300m+ (eliminates all cross-talk, noise and signal degradation problems).
- 8 standard RJ45 output jacks allow connection of up to 8 separate receivers using standard cat5/6 cables
- Jumper links allowing selection between “LOR” and “ESTA” wiring on all DMX outputs
- Receives up to 32 universes of Art-net data and up to 36 universes of E1.31 data
- Auxiliary output allows PWM control of an external fan(s) for automatic temperature regulation inside an enclosure
- 4 layer PCB
- Features a standard mode as well as a “condensed” mode (when using pixels that don’t require any clock signal) that allows for up to 1360 pixels worth of data to be sent down a single cat5/6 cable to a receiver
- Total output capacity of 5,440 pixels (max 1360 pixels per RJ45 jack output)
Receiver Features
- Receives differential pair signals and converts them back into SPI signals for use with pixels
- Total power rating of 15A per receiver (7.5A max per output)
- Fused outputs (ships with 7.5A mini blade fuses)
- Pluggable connectors on each output for power and data
- Can control 2 sets of any supported pixel type OR 4 sets of pixels that only use data line
- Available in an entry-level version and a fully isolated version for commercial and professional installations
