Melbourne/Vic 2016 Melbourne Mini: PlugFest 14th-15th May

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini

I'd like to know about weatherproofing solutions for various elements (P10s for example)
I'd be keen to know see discussion on Bruce's Point 5: Electrical design for your show

I'm no expert on most topics but I'm more than happy to show off my P10 sign and/or coro merry Xmas Sign and how I made/sequenced them both?
I don't think it's needed in the meeting room but if we need a PA I have one. I can also bring some snacks?

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

A wiki page for the mini is now up at http://auschristmaslighting.com/wiki/2016_Mini_%28Melbourne%29

Now I just need a guru to change the status of the Melbourne mini on the corner of the wiki page and get 1 of the gurus to add a registration thingy to this thread. (Max number will be 35 I think)

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

That would be Guru Ryan, Guru Steve or possibly Guru Dave...

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

Yes Andrew they do look like your topics - unless you want to give one on something even more exciting

Put me down to attend. I will bring along about 100 cat6, 2 mtr patch cables, if anyone would like some at the mini.

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

Just realised that the Saturday is my wife's birthday. If I want to live to enjoy Blinky 2016, I think it best that I don't attend the Saturday. Hopefully I'll be ok for Sunday though...

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

Yes Andrew we could introduce a completely useless session if that helps... 8)

Tell your wife you have bought her a ticket to a seminar.

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

All being well I should be ok to attend this time. The last time I registered, a couple of years ago, my mum very inconveniently passed away on my way to the Mini and trying to do a rapid U-turn on the Westgate Bridge just doesn't work. That shouldn't happen again. Should be ok for both days at this stage and looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

Im attending, a few of us at this stage will be car pooling from Ballarat. Looking forward to it again!

Re: 2016 Melbourne mini 14th-15th May

Only 13 registered out of the 20 or so that have said they are interested or planning on coming. Registering simply makes it easier to keep track of who is coming and the total numbers. You can un-register at any stage on the same thingy at the top of the thread. Numbers are limited to 35 (ish) due to room so first in first served.
