Awesome event guys, and amazing venue. Huge amount of effort put in to make it happen, very professionally done and a pleasure to attend and be involved. Thanks so much to all those who contributed.

Well it's over. What a weekend.

Firstly thanks to Ben for organising such a massive weekend, Daryl and Derf for all the work put in behind the scenes, and nobody realises the work you all did. Next, thanks to Tony for one of the best venues that I have ever seen, and showing us a peak at what could be next years venue.

Now a massive thanks to all the people who organised and donated prizes, a massive 126 prizes values at a total of about $7000. Wow, I have not been to lighting events with a prize pool this large ever before, so this is a credit to those who donated them, thank you very much! Troy, you owe the cleaners a case of beer!!!

Next we could not have a mini without the people attending. This year was a brilliant mix of new, intermediate and more experienced members, and there was a great variety of questions all through the day, and that made it much better for everyone involved, and even the more experienced people should have learned a thing or two (I know I did, thanks Derf!)
